KKH is already known for its civil engineering marvel as the world’s second-highest paved road, connecting Pakistan and China and serving as a significant commercial route between the two nations. A BBC documentary stated the same thing, adding that the road was smooth, safe, and fully developed. The travel-booking company advised people to “regain altitude by driving the world’s second-highest asphalt road.”

Other travel websites describe the KKH as one of the best tourist locations in the world, with breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush mountains.

The 1,300-kilometer Karakoram Highway connects Pakistan and China and travels through the Karakoram mountain range. It reaches a height of up to 7,000 meters at times. It begins in Hasan Abdal and ends in Gilgit-Khunjerab Baltistan’s Pass.
