Rawalpindi: As per the latest news, the Khidmat Apki Dehleez Per initiative was launched on Thursday in the garrison city on the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.

The program was inaugurated by Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) Managing Director Awais Manzoor Tarrar and Assistant Commissioner City Waqas Sikandari.

The campaign began with the use of heavy machinery to pick up rubbish left on roadsides in Millat Colony and Committee Chowk. Promotional materials for the program’s Android application were also distributed to citizens at a camp put up for the occasion.

Mr. Tarrar claimed that Mr. Buzdar’s clean-up campaign had given people a sense of empowerment. He explained that using the application launched as part of this program, any person may file a complaint, which will be visible on the central dashboard, and the department in charge would resolve the issue with photographic evidence.

Technology, according to Assistant Commissioner City Waqas Sikandari, has made this program unique. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab, we will realize our goal of a clean city. Individuals who pollute the city with building materials would face severe consequences.
