Lahore: According to press reports, the Lahore Parking Company (LePark) has approved the construction of an additional 200 parking spots to address the city’s growing traffic concerns. A total of 407 parking spaces will be available as a result of the updated decision made at a meeting of the company’s board of directors to address the parking problem.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mudassar Riaz presided over the board meeting and ordered a re-evaluation of the city’s five giant parking sites. In addition, Kareem Market, Ichra Market, Mall Road, and Liberty Chowk were chosen to double the revenue generated from key parking locations. The DC directed that work be expedited and that the construction process be completed quickly and efficiently.

Ms. Rubina Nazar Sulehri was also elected the chairperson of the Lahore Parking Company by the board of directors. Members of the boards of directors were present during the meeting.
