MANSEHRA: To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, the tehsil municipal administration has launched an anti-encroachment drive in the Oghi district and its suburbs.

“We have removed temporary structures and handcarts that were obstructing the Oghi-Mansehra Road and other roads in the city and its outskirts,” tehsil municipal administrator Amjad Iqbal told reporters on Thursday.

He said that a team from his department, led by the inspector (infrastructure) Hassan Tanoli, removed encroachments and handcarts from Mansehra Road, Shergar Road, and Toheed Road and transferred the goods to the TMA offices.

To ensure smooth vehicular flow, Mr. Iqbal said the crackdown on encroachments would continue during Ramadan.
