Islamabad: Pakistan and China have agreed to conduct the 10th meeting of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) to discuss the rollover of $3 billion in CPEC loans.

Pakistan has proposed a new loan repayment deal for the CPEC energy projects. During the news conference, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on CPEC Affairs Khalid Mansoor said, “Talks with Chinese officials have commenced for a win-win situation.” Mansoor went on to say that the debt rollover was still in its early stages. The much-anticipated 10th JCC conference, according to SAPM, is critical for re-energizing the CPEC projects.
