Islamabad: As per the latest news, Ghazanfar Azzam, president and CEO of Mobilink Microfinance Bank stated that the country’s freelancers earned more than Rs4 billion through a tech-based solution during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The country’s e-commerce and IT sectors grew as companies and trade suffered as a result of the coronavirus restrictions and lockdowns. Pakistan has the fourth-fastest rising freelance industry in the world. However, when money was sent via a traditional channel, freelancers experienced delays and high costs.

He explained that JazzCash, a subsidiary of Mobilink Microfinance Bank, worked with Payoneer, an American financial services company that specializes in online money transfers and digital payments.
