Peshawar: Under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP), the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is now working on nine distinct housing projects for government employees and the general population.

These projects include the Surizai Housing Scheme in Peshawar, the 190 Kanal Mulazai Housing Scheme on Warsak Road in Peshawar, the Jerma Housing Scheme in Kohat, Satellite Town, Jalozai Housing Scheme in Nowshera, Haveli Housing Scheme in CPEC City, Hangu Model Town, and the Dangram Housing Scheme in Swat.

According to a Housing Department official, the 190 Kanal Mulazai housing projects on Warsak Road in the province capital have been finished, and construction of dwellings has begun once allotees have been given ownership. He said the project cost Rs 164.5 million and that 144 flats for government personnel were being built in Hayatabad phase-V Peshawar, while 96 flats in Civil Quarters Peshawar phase-II were finished.
