Rawalpindi: As per the latest news, Commissioner Rawalpindi Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah stated on Thursday that construction on the new route of the Rawalpindi Ring road project has begun on the directive of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar
He told a delegation from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) led by President Muhammad Nasir that necessary revisions to the Land Acquisition Act are being presented to facilitate the timely completion of development projects.

According to Gulzar, as the city has gotten more densely inhabited, there is a need to build high-rise buildings to address difficulties such as parking, traffic jam, and other challenges using the REIT model, which has proven successful in industrialized countries.
The Commissioner stated that the projected Rawal Expressway and industrial zones under the City master plan would be taken into consideration by traders because the business community was the backbone of the national economy.
