Haripur: According to the latest news, Vice-Chancellor University of Haripur Prof Dr. Anwar Gilani officially opened the construction of three new blocks on campus on Wednesday.

The latest blocks are part of the federal government’s financial support for an Rs1457.960 million expansion project. During the first phase of the project, three new blocks will be completed: the Ibn-i-Khaldun Social Science Block (costing Rs212.97 million), the Al-Khwarizmi Science Block (costing Rs206 million), and the Al-Ghazali Central Library (costing Rs43.63 million).

Separate hostels for faculty, male and female students, a gymnasium, an examination department, a vice chancellor’s house, a Students Teacher Center, and roads will be built in the following phases.

The construction of the blocks, according to the vice-chancellor, will complement existing facilities and enable the administration to accommodate at least double the number of students and teachers.
