According to official documents, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) has recently depreciated up to 37 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank currency market.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the Pakistani rupee closed at Rs154.50 against the US dollar, down 37 paisas from the previous close of Rs154.13.

On the other hand, the Pakistani rupee appreciated 152.95 against the US dollar on April 28, marking the 22nd consecutive significant rise.

The rupee has also recovered more than Rs15 in the last seven months after hitting an all-time low of Rs168.43 in August last year.
