Lahore: According to published reports, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has requested proposals from interested engineering firms for prequalification to carry out underground electrical work in LDA City.

The regulatory body has invited bids from companies in the C-2 and above categories to participate in the bidding process. Contractors must also supply information about their company’s profile and the construction equipment they own.
Underground electrification work will be carried out concurrently with the development of LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments in Mouza Haloki, it has been said. The installation of the electricity network will be entrusted to only prequalified companies.

S.A Imran, the LDA’s Vice-Chairman, has also claimed that the civic authority has accepted the LDA City-Iqbal Sector map and that the balloting will take place next month. Apart from that, issues and concerns with the Chiniot Society have been handled, and LDA Avenue 1’s remaining files will be balloted in the coming month.
