Karachi: The Sindh government is building a new drainage line along the Natha Khan Bridge leading to Jinnah International Airport, as well as a U-turn under the flyover for people’ convenience. Commuters utilising Sharea Faisal to go to Drig Road Colony will be able to make a U-turn. On Sunday, Karachi Administrator Karachi and CM Adviser on Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab reviewed continuing construction on the new drainage line at the Natha Khan Bridge in District East.

Chief Engineers of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and Special Assistant to Chief Minister Iqbal Sandh were also present. Before giving required instructions, the administrator reviewed the site. Officials gave him a briefing. Barrister Wahab also had a look at the ongoing renovations in the nearby regions.

He said that the Sindh government, led by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was putting out large-scale development projects in Karachi for the residents’ benefit. He stated that road maintenance, new road construction, and restoration projects were all in full flow. “We control this city, and we’ll take care of difficulties when they arise,” he added, adding that the goal of the uplifting work was to make life easier for the residents.
