Islamabad: According to media reports, a two-day international conference on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Formation of Different Narratives was held at Quaid-e-Azam Auditorium of Faisal Mosque Campus, Islamabad, today (November 17) at 9 a.m. by the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD).

The conference will be attended by eminent international and national experts in sociology, economics, and mass media, according to the details. Various aspects of CPEC’s regional and global effect will be covered in separate sessions throughout the CPEC conference.

CPEC, according to Dr Hassan Al-Amin, Executive Director of the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue, is a vital project that connects the western part of China to the southern Arabian Sea.

CPEC’s second phase has seen the commencement of various infrastructure, energy, railway, and other industry sub-projects. The executive director stated that a variety of narratives concerning CPEC were circulating in Pakistan and around the world, including narratives from less developed regions, official narratives from Pakistan and China, socioeconomic specialists, and political narratives.
