The minister appreciated PIA’s efforts to boost tourism while speaking to the media at a ceremony commemorating the launch of a flight from Faisalabad to Skardu. He went on to explain that Pakistan has a varied range of natural beauty and that the current administration plans to boost tourism.
A new airport will also be developed in Gilgit, according to the state minister. Over 4 million tourists have visited Pakistan’s northern provinces, according to Mr. Farrukh Habib, boosting the hotel industry.
Fortunately, the tourism industry is returning to routine thanks to meticulous planning and monitoring. Religious tourism should be fostered, according to the state minister, so that travelers from all over the world can visit religious sites.
Faisalabad, according to State Minister Farrukh Habib, is tremendously important both nationally and globally because it is the site of the first economic zone established under the World Bank China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He went on to remark that a public-private partnership might be used to build a new airport in Faisalabad based on the Sialkot model.
