Islamabad: According to our news resources, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan stated the Central Business District (CBD) and Riverfront Urban Development Project (RRUDP) projects are vital in Lahore due to overcrowding disputes and control pollution in Lahore.

PM Khan directed a review meeting to check the progress of the projects. PM’s concerns are focused on minimizing Pakistan’s population rate and addressing overcrowded problems in Lahore. He stated that these two projects would help reduce pollution levels due to eco-friendly international best practices, waste management, green spaces, and clean energy sources. He also said that action would be taken against the officials who disobeyed the project’s timeline. In the meeting, the attendees were informed about the components of RRUP to be included in CPEC.

According to our news resources, the green spaces in Lahore had been reserved in entire projects, which clean technology will ensure eco-friendly construction. It was also considered that seven international groups have set up a waste treatment plant in the RRUDP project.
