Sialkot: According to the reports, the Public-Private Partnership Authority’s (PPPA) Board of Directors has approved the construction of the Sialkot-Kharian Motorway project as part of the federal government’s Public-Private Partnership Program.
The news was announced at a meeting of the PPPA, which was chaired by the Minister of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar.
The meeting went over the working paper and presentation for the National Highway Authority’s (NHA) proposal to Build, Operate & Transfer (BOT) construction of the 69-kilometer four-lane Sialkot-Kharian Motorway.
Asad Umar urged all parties involved to keep working together to ensure the project’s progress.
According to the minister, PPP projects have a lot of promise, and the government will make sure that it is completely realized.
The board also approved the commercial and financial feasibility report, the transaction structure, and the request for a proposal package after a thorough discussion.
