According to a press release, Mastercard will use its smart city solutions in the urban development project to allow residents, merchants, and government officials to engage easily and seamlessly through digital channels. Citizens will be able to use automated portals to make everyday payments as well as pay bills and utility services.

RUDA will gain efficiencies across its many procedures, including fee collecting and other administrative services, as a result of the agreement. RUDA wants to transform the province’s metropolitan districts into long-term, livable, and well-managed economic growth engines.

Ruda will receive assistance from Mastercard in realising this objective and establishing a cashless framework inside the community’s blueprint.
