Naran: According to the information, work has begun to remove debris, landslide boulders, and flash floods in order to restore all types of traffic. According to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Diamer’s latest announcement, the route would be blocked to all forms of traffic from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day.
To minimise any difficulty, travellers are advised to avoid travelling on Babusar Road and instead utilise the Karakoram Highway (KKH) in the event of an emergency.
The admission of visitors via Babusar and KKH has been prohibited for 48 hours, according to a notification issued by Diamer divisional commissioner Dildar Malik, since landslides have resumed in the Tatta Pani area of KKH following recent rains.
The government has decided to prohibit entrance until the monsoon rains stop, according to a notification issued on Monday by the Astor-Diamer Division Commissioner, who also stated that personnel at the Thor and Babusar check points have been told not to let anybody in. It goes on to say that anyone who disobeys the commands will be punished.
