Rawalpindi: According to a recent news report, According to reports released on Wednesday, the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has completed the remodelling of Kalma Chowk and Bakra Mandi carpeting projects at a cost of PKR 30 million.

According to a spokesperson for the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB), the cantonment board authorities were attempting to complete various development projects in a timely manner. According to him, RCB President Brig. Ijaz Qamar Kiani urged the necessary authorities to assure quality and speed construction work on ongoing development projects.

Furthermore, the president is said to have instructed local authorities to remove handcarts and encroachments in order to bring assistance to residents. The anti-encroachment operation has been accelerated on the orders of RCB Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Umar Farooq Ali Malik. 132 truckloads of products were seized over the first three months of the campaign, according to information shared about it.

Furthermore, the anti-encroachment operation was shown to be carried out on a daily basis. President Kiani of the RCB has warned citizens not to break the regulations, warning that those who do will face severe consequences.
