Rawalpindi: According to news reports, Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) Station Commander Brigadier Salman Nazar asked the management of the Rawalpindi and Chaklala cantonment boards to ensure the supply of civic utilities to civilians on Thursday (November 11).

He said that encroachments on bazaars must be eliminated to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during a combined meeting of the RCB and the Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB). He also recommended that management encourage folks to use the free parking on Haider Road and at The Mall.
In addition, he urged officials to construct infrastructure for clean, drinkable water and to improve municipal services for residents. He also noted that the management should take aggressive steps to restore the annual flower exhibition, emphasising the importance of entertainment and recreational activities, as well as the beautifying of cantonment boards.

He also lauded the work of cantonment officials and employees in repairing the city’s infrastructure. He noted that there are always areas for improvement, which the boards of directors should consider while putting together future efforts.
