Lahore: According to media sources, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar announced on Tuesday (September 21) that the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project will be presented at the Dubai Expo to attract international investment.

The project, according to CM Buzdar, will be a game-changer because it is a one-of-a-kind project being created on the bank of a river, inspired by the way London stands on the River Thames. He went on to suggest that it will open up new development avenues.

The chief minister presided over a meeting to assess the progress of the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project. According to reports, the chief minister was pleased with the project’s development and instructed the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) to speed up the land purchase process in accordance with the norms and regulations.

Moreover, according to CM Buzdar, 44,000 acres of land have been chosen. Three barrages with a storage capacity of 600,000 cusecs will be built, and a 6,000-acre industrial zone will be formed, according to the announcement. According to reports, 6 million samplings will be planted to reduce pollutants and make the project environmentally friendly.
