Haripur: According to a recent news report, the Pakistan Railways claim to have reclaimed 42,500 square feet of land in Haripur from unlawful squatters.

According to Pakistan Railwaysland officer Malik Khalid Wahid, the railway police, with the assistance of the district administration and police, conducted an anti-encroachment operation on the track’s sides near Haripur railway station, demolishing 37 cemented structures, including houses and shops, in order to reclaim the organization’s land, which is valued at Rs. 59.5 million. He stated that the action was conducted after the unlawful land occupiers failed to comply with notifications for voluntary encroachment removal.
