Lahore: According to press reports, the Punjab government has announced that construction, energy, livestock, agriculture, industry and trade, and other departments will be featured at Dubai Expo 2020.

The minister announced at a press briefing at the Directorate General of Public Relations (DGPR) that 20 departments will participate in the Expo at various times. Dr. Arfa Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Board of Investment, stated that this event will help promote the country’s soft image and showcase investment prospects in Punjab.
Provincial Energy Minister Akhtar Malik revealed that the provincial energy department is bringing its ‘Solar Revolution’ to the Dubai Expo, according to details released. Punjab’s green energy potential will be showcased in order to attract investment in the energy development sector.

In addition, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar will open the investor portal at the Dubai Expo, which will be hosted by the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade. Pakistan will host an international business conference, panel discussions, and seminars at the Expo, according to further information.
Furthermore, Pakistan Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 attracted over 100,000 visitors within 18 days, which made it one of the busiest pavilions since the event started.
