Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, who presided over a meeting in his office on Sunday to finalize arrangements for participating in the Dubai Expo, said the Punjab government would fully participate in the event, giving fair representation to the south, central, and Pothohar regions.
The meeting also agreed in principle to include the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the private sector, in the expo.
Mr. Buzdar stated that the Dubai Expo would emphasize culture, trade, tourism, and other important aspects of Punjab’s glorious history. “Participating in the Dubai Expo would help to promote a softer image of Pakistan,” he said, adding that international investors will be offered possibilities in the commercial and tourist sectors in Punjab.
