Lahore: According to media sources, Punjab Local Government and Community Development Minister Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed announced the allocation of 30% of the development budget to village councils. The government established a modern and functional local government structure to provide citizens with high-quality municipal services.
Transparency shall be preserved in every development initiative, according to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar’s vision. The chief minister recently launched a revitalization program for the Narowal district, and development funds were quickly allocated.
Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed also tasked the deputy commissioner with creating a master plan for the Narowal District. He indicated that specifics concerning projects to improve the district’s level of living would be discussed with CM Buzdar.
Nabila Irfan, the Deputy Commissioner of Narowal, indicated that a detailed plan was in place to complete the projects according to the CM’s deadline. It was the first time that the Narowal district received development funds, according to Minister Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed.
