Multan: According to a news story, the Punjab government has announced the location of about 500 low-cost apartments that will be constructed under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) initiative in Multan.
According to Housing Secretary Liaqat Ali Chatta, the government has approved the construction of 500 low-cost apartments near Madni Chowk as part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s flagship NPHP initiative in Multan. During a Clean & Green Pakistan Initiative ceremony, the secretary shared this detail.
The flats will be built on land owned by the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency, according to the secretary. Banks would provide home loans with lower interest rates and simple terms and conditions to allow people to obtain housing, according to Chatta.
When asked about the completion date for the NPHP apartments in Multan, Chatta said that the project will be finished as soon as possible.
