Islamabad: According to an advertisement in the national daily, the federal ministry of climate change has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the appointment of “consultant(s)/consortium of consultant(s)” for the creation of a botanical garden in Islamabad’s Banigala neighbourhood.

The botanical garden will cover 725 acres, and national/international consultants are being sought for the project’s “conceptual design, master planning, and detailed design.”
According to the information provided, the bids will be accepted using the ‘single stage-two envelope’ approach. The interested firms are required to submit technical and financial proposals in the appropriate format in two sealed envelopes, as specified in the terms of reference’s scope of work (TORs).

The RFP documents for the above project can be found on the Ministry of Climate Change’s website, the PPRA website, and the office of the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Programme National Project Director’s website. The deadline for proposals is October 28, and they must be received by the national project director’s office by 12:30 p.m. on October 29.
