Sargodha: As per the latest news, Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the government’s emphasis on the housing and construction sectors will boost the economy, stabilize industrial development, and create jobs for the youth.
The prime minister said that promoting the housing sector would not only ensure economic activity, but also help the common man realize his dream of owning a home. He was speaking at the foundation-laying ceremony of an affordable housing project under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program in Sargodha district.
A total of 1,175 houses measuring three marlas each will be built in six locations across the Sargodha district as part of the project.
The Punjab government will provide the project with land and other resources. The Frontier Works Organization will be in charge of the building. The Bank of Punjab taking over the mortgage facility will assist the worthy citizens to pay for their home in simple installments.
The prime minister emphasized the importance of banks in providing loans to the general public, noting that the long-awaited repeal of the bank foreclosure law culminated in the completion of a major housing program.

The prime minister praised Chief Minister Buzdar for leading an inter-ministerial housing project to completion.
He praised the Punjab government for taking the lead in securing land for the project and expressed hope that Khyber Pukhtunkhwa will do the same.
The project will be extended to 146 tehsils, according to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, the Federal Minister of Science and Technology, said the dream of building five million houses was about to come true.
