Lahore: On Thursday, a delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) met with Punjab Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal to discuss ways to improve cooperation and collaboration in a variety of areas.

The five-member delegation met at the Civil Secretariat and examined the status of ongoing ADB-funded projects in the province, led by US Alternate Executive Director in ADB John Hurley. Mr. Hurley stated that the ADB is eager to expand its partnership with the Punjab government in areas such as social development, agriculture, and the environment.
The chief secretary praised the Asian Development Bank’s investment in Punjab, saying it will assist the state meet its development, social, and economic goals.

The province administration and the Asian Development Bank will work together fully, according to the top secretary. The delegates praised the Punjab government’s efforts to promote economic development and stated that the ADB would continue to support Pakistan’s prosperity.
