Islamabad: The government has agreed to raise petroleum product prices. The new price of petrol will be 123.30 rupees a litre, representing a Rs. 5 per litre rise. After a hike of Rs. 05.01, high-speed diesel (HSD), which is primarily utilised in agriculture and transportation, would be sold at Rs. 120.04 a litre.
Kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO) prices have risen by Rs. 05.46 and Rs. 05.92, respectively. The revised pricing will take effect at midnight, according to a statement from the Finance Division.
