Lahore: According to news reports, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has started the process of pre-qualifying contractors for the dualization of Burki Road and the rehabilitation of roadways on both sides of the Babu Sabu Interchange. Bids for road rehabilitation near the Babu Sabu Interchange must be submitted by September 2 to the government.

Pre-qualification bids for the project to reroute Burki Road from the Lahore School of Economics (LSE) to the BRB are also due on September 3. Firms with the necessary credentials are also being invited to submit pre-qualification proposals for the restoration of roadways in New Islamia Park, Royal Park, Ranjha Road, Faisal Road, and Himayat-e-Islamia Road by September 4.

In addition, the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has asked the revenue department for Rs. 1 billion to develop new parks and maintain existing ones. On the other hand, the revenue department has approved Rs. 500 million for PHA, and a summary has been provided to the cabinet.
