Lahore: According to news reports, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PPDWP) of the Punjab Planning and Development (P&D) Board authorized ten uplifts and development programs totaling PKR 45.55 billion on Tuesday.

Abdullah Khan Sumbal, Chairman of the Planning and Development Board, presided over the meeting. Members of the Punjab Planning and Development Board, senior chief coordination, and assistant chief coordination also attended the meeting, as did P&D Provincial Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch, senior officers from key provincial departments, and members of the Punjab Planning and Development Board, senior chief coordination, and assistant chief coordination.

The following are the details of the schemes that were authorized by the board:

  1. The renovation of Rawat Haraka Dhadial Road (Length 36 km) (Phase I) in Rawalpindi was approved for PKR 1.274 billion.
  2. Under the Greater Thal Canal Project, PKR 19.29 billion has been set aside for the building of the Chobara Branch Canal (Phase II).
  3. The Greater Thal Canal project’s component command area development (phase II) was approved for PKR 19.78 billion.
  4. At the Divisional Headquarters in Faisalabad, a total of PKR 750 million has been set aside for the building of a Cricket High-Performance Center.
  5. A Cricket High-Performance Center would be established at the Divisional Headquarters in Sialkot for PKR 750 million.
  6. PKR 605.5 million for the construction of the Tehsil Complex, King Suleman Stadium, mini zoo, pile foundation bridge, Mettalled Road, and Toyota Center in DG Khan Tehsil’s Sanghar Nala region. Taunsa Sharif is a Muslim woman who lives in the city of Taun
  7. PKR 526.984 million for the construction of a 31-kilometer road in Rawalpindi connecting Kahuti and Cliary.
  8. The building, maintenance, reopening, and repair of Rajanpur’s Khambi to Mari Meteled Road cost PKR 441.474 million.

  1. 9. PKR 2.2 billion will be spent on road dualization in Lodhran Karor Paka, Melsi, and Vehari.
  2. 10. PKR 104.485 million to create a project management unit in conjunction with the Nullah Lai Expressway and its associated urban regeneration project.
