Lahore: In addition to reducing inflation, Prime Minister Imran Khan instructed the Punjab government to take action against the “qabza mafia” and hoarders on Monday.

The prime minister was informed on the political and law and order situation in the nation by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Chief Secretary Jawwad Rafique Malik, and the Inspector General of Police. The premier was also informed by the CS and IGP on the crackdown on the “qabza mafia” and hoarders, as well as pricing control measures for everyday products.

During a briefing on the steps being taken to safeguard women from harassment and violence, the prime minister stated that those who abuse women should face severe consequences. Later, the prime minister met with Punjab Local Government Minister Mahmoodur Rasheed and the head of the Chief Minister’s Complaint Cell, Zubair Niazi, to address the political situation in the province, as well as party affairs and the handling of public complaints.
