During a visit to the Hoshab-Awaran Road project site, the chairman emphasized that the PM’s top priority is the development of Gwadar. He also remarked that road construction in Balochistan is important since it will improve Gwadar port’s connectivity with Pakistan.

According to Retd Lt Gen Asim Bajwa, more than 70% of the construction work on the Baseema-Khuzdar route has been completed. It is an important project since it would connect Gwadar to the rest of Pakistan. The project is expected to be finished by the end of the current calendar year.

In addition, the government is working to solve the issues that the people of Balochistan face as a result of a lack of essential civic services, including power, education, communication, health, and drinking water.

The chairman announced the construction of 31 dams in nine districts to shine more light on Balochistan’s progress. Construction on 15 dams has already begun, and work on the remaining dams will start soon.

Mr Bajwa further mentioned that construction at Gwadar Airport is still going on. However, the airport will accommodate large cargo planes once it is done, and it will be outfitted with innovative communication technologies to speed up port operations.
