Islamabad: During a virtual summit on Wednesday, as per the news report, Prime Minister Imran Khan and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev will discuss the full range of bilateral ties, including political, trade, economic, defense, connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges.

The two countries will work together to strengthen political and strategic ties, accelerate transit and trade cooperation, and expand educational and cultural cooperation. A major emphasis is the Trans-Afghan Railway Project, which Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan agreed to earlier this year.
Apart from bilateral issues, the two leaders would discuss important regional and international issues. They will also discuss ways to improve international and regional cooperation and collaboration. The virtual summit will give participants the opportunity to expand on current bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
