Islamabad: According to news reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan urged concerned authorities to hasten work on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Phase-II on Tuesday (November 23).

During a meeting of the Prime Minister’s Priority Sectors Committee, he said this. The Rashakai, Dhabeji, Allama Iqbal, and Bostan Special Economic Zones are working on gas and electricity delivery, according to the conference (SEZs).

The premier noted that the government’s goal should be to discover export-related industries, increase business possibilities, and make it easier to do business in the country, according to the facts given. He believes that the growth of jobs and opportunities for the general population should be prioritised in industrial policy.

The Board of Investment also informed the gathering that it is trying to bring all construction-related information and regulations together under one roof. Government agencies are also working on a CPEC plug-and-play model, in which industrialists would be assisted via internet platforms without the need for cumbersome procedures.
