Sukkur: According to a news story published in the media on April 16, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a development package worth PKR 446 billion to improve the lives of Sindh residents.
The Prime Minister announced the package while speaking at the Kamyab Jawan Program in Sukkur, promising to fully change the lives of the people there.
Addressing the crowd, Khan said that people would see the difference these funds make within a month. This development package comes on top of the PKR 1,100 billion funds used in the Karachi Package.
PM Khan also said that even though the federal government receives a No Objection Certificate, it would be unable to build Bundle Island. He emphasized that the development of Bundle Island would result in the creation of thousands of jobs, as well as revenue for the province from tourism.

Prior to the meeting, a representative of the Sindh government declared that the province had received PKR 60 million and that massive funds for Matiari production had already been invested. This is in addition to the 1.9 million citizens who received funds through the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme, which included two PKR 6,000 installments in one go.
