According to the budget paper, 17 new initiatives and 14 continuing schemes have been proposed. Here are the specifics of the budget allocation.
- PKR 750 million is set aside for North Punjab
- PKR 350 is reserved for Central and South Punjab
- PKR 1.081.425 billion is allocated for the ongoing schemes and is expected to be complete by 2023.
- PKR 1.064 billion will be used for new schemes and the projects are expected to be finished by 2023

Furthermore, both site repair and new initiatives would be prioritized by the Punjab government. Campaigns to promote cleanliness are also in the works. As a result, several sites and racks will be cleaned.
To make better use of the available area in Patriata, glamping pods will be installed. It will increase the area’s tourist capacity. A double-decker bus service for visitors in southern Punjab is reportedly in the works.
In addition, the government plans to build adventure parks. A proposal has been made for the Soon Valley-District Khushab Adventure Park and Parkway Project. Furthermore, the government plans to construct a water park in Jhang.
