Islamabad: On Wednesday, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved the construction of public parks at the district and tehsil levels in combined districts at a cost of Rs. 700 million. The PDWP meeting, which was chaired by Additional Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, also approved a feasibility study for the Rs. 106.51 million restorations of the Shahi Katha drain in Peshawar.

Other projects approved include a Rs. 427.05 million infrastructure rehabilitation projects in Sheikh Maltoon Town Mardan, a Rs. 1000 million public park establishment projects in the province, and a Rs. 203.22 million feasibility study for the construction of a sewerage treatment plant in Faqir Kalay Peshawar.
