Lahore: A Pakistan Railways (Lahore division) crew closed backdoors/entrances (facing the railway track) to 300 residences in the Railways Employees Housing Society in Faisalabad on Thursday in a massive operation to prevent any unfortunate occurrence. In addition, the crew closed 50 businesses along the railway route.

In a news statement, a spokeswoman for the railroads said, “The doors and shutters were blocked by placing/fixing of sleepers and other types of obstacles so that no one could get out and utilise the other entrances/exits for their premises.” “By doing so, we have reduced the likelihood of track accidents,” he continued.
