Before this, Pakistan lacked an intercropping national research center. This is the first center affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture’s central laboratory in China, Sichuan Agricultural University. This university has an intercropping research center where soybean and maize research is performed.
Because of their extensive experience in this area and its technology, the Chinese are involved in this project. Furthermore, it has been learned that the center in Pakistan has been officially allocated 25 acres of total land.
