Peshawar: A developer was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for selling plots in an unregistered society. Sultan Hussain, co-owner of City Residencia Peshawar, was named in a statement released here on Friday. According to the NAB, the accused enticed others to invest in his illegal housing society.

According to the report, the housing project was running in complete contravention of the law by not complying with codal procedures. The accused sold a total of 675 plots (315 kanals) while owning only 113 kanals of land.

The accused was brought before the Peshawar Accountability Court in order to obtain his physical custody. The accused was given a 10-day physical remand to the bureau for further investigation.
