Islamabad: According to press reports, the Punjab Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department ended the 5% rebate on property tax submission on Thursday (September 30).

The rebate program’s deadline has passed on September 30, and the ten percent discount on paying taxes via e-pay (e-Pay Punjab) has been reduced to five percent. Property owners who have not submitted their taxes by October 1 will be required to pay the full amount due, with only a 5% discount if they pay through e-payment means.

According to reports, the incentive was implemented earlier this month, and defaulters were told that if they did not pay their taxes on time, they would face legal penalties.
