Lahore: According to news reports, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar declared on Tuesday (September 28) that Muzaffargarh Industrial Estate will be designated as a special economic zone (SEZ).

The minister made the statements during a meeting with Khwaja Jalal-ud-Din Roomi, President of the Dera Ghazi Khan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DGKCCI). According to him, the designation of Muzaffargarh Industrial Estate as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) will create job possibilities for the youth of South Punjab.

CM Buzdar further announced that the government plans to grant low-interest loans to Muzaffargarh, Multan, and DG Khan youngsters. The Jalal-ud-Din Roomi Foundation will help with the distribution of loans to needy youth in order to stimulate economic activity in this context.

While, in collaboration with the Jalal-ud-Din Roomi Foundation, charity centres will be established in public places. CM Buzdar also lauded the foundation work on filtration plant repairs, noting that further assistance will be provided to continue the excellent work.
