Dera Ismail Khan: On Wednesday, unknown assailants detonated a bomb at an under-construction government girls school in the Tank district’s Bolton Kalu Parangi region. According to local residents and authorities, the explosion entirely demolished the school building. There were no casualties, though.
The event was confirmed by Tank district police officer Sajjad Ahmed, who said four to five kilogrammes of explosives were used in the blast. He stated that the police had filed a FIR against unknown criminals and had begun their investigation.
