Faisalabad: According to news reports, Punjab Minister for Industry and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal broke ground on the Faisalabad Expo Centre on Sunday (September 26). The public-private partnership (3P) model will be used to complete the expo centre.

A small launch event was arranged at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry to this end (FCCI). The building of a state-of-the-art exhibition centre, according to Minister Iqbal, will enhance the local economy, boost the “Made in Faisalabad” brand, and attract international direct investment (FDI).
The government, according to the minister, is totally dedicated to facilitating rapid industrialization and the development of industrial zones like the M3-Industrial Zone and the Allama Iqbal Industrial Zone in Faisalabad.

He also claimed that in the foreseeable future, he intends to colonise industrial property swiftly. In addition, the minister opened an industrial facilitation lounge, which would give modern business amenities to businessmen. FCCI President Engineer Hafiz Ihtasham Javed, FCCI members, and local traders and businesspeople attended the occasion.
