Mansehra: As per the latest news, the privately-owned Helping Hand Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences would be promoted as the country’s first university in the field of rehabilitation sciences according to principal Dr Keramatullah.

He was speaking with Sana Mir, the former captain of Pakistan’s women’s cricket team, who was visiting the HHIR.

Dr Bahadur Shah, the principal and director of the institute, informed Ms Mir on the courses, facilities, students, accomplishments, and future plans.

The former skipper said she was glad to see young men and women receiving education in the field of rehabilitation sciences and prosthetics after seeing the facility. She claimed that persons with disabilities suffered greatly as a result of their inability to pay for healthcare.

“You [institute] are not only preparing doctors for the rehabilitation field but also helping the people with disabilities stand on their own feet,” she stated.
