On Sunday, the LDA declared that the excavation work on the Gulab Devi’s underpass’s barrel will be completed. On November 1 (today), the contractor is to completely open the barrel so that it can be used for road carpeting and wall finishing.

According to the information provided, the authority plans to complete the Gulab Devi underpass two months ahead of schedule and open it to traffic on November 30. The overall cost of the Sheranwala flyover, on the other hand, has increased by PKR 23.4 million.

The project’s amended budget will be used for road carpeting and service transfers. Rather than putting it in the project’s Project Concept-1, separate bids were published to this end (PC-1). In addition to the PC-1, the LDA has launched proposals for allied services totaling PKR 180 million for the Sheranwala flyover project.
