A full-height underpass would be built at Khalid Butt Chowk near Cavalry Ground, according to the proposed design. A single-way flyover will also be constructed from Ghoda Chowk to Defense Mor.

When the project is finished, vehicles coming from and going to Defence Mor and Cavalry Ground will have a signal-free corridor, saving commuting times. LDA Chief Engineer Mazhar Hussain Khan forwarded PC-1 to the province government after gaining design approval from Director General LDA Aziz Ahmed Tarar.
