Lahore: Civil society, the general public, government and semi-government organisations, and stakeholders have been asked to contribute comments, ideas, and proposals for the Lahore Master Plan 2050 by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA). On the LDA’s official Facebook page, the invitation was posted.

According to the post, stakeholders and the general public can submit proposals for the Lahore Master Plan 2050 to the LDA office in Johar Town, and a special seminar will be held in collaboration with the University of Engineering and Technology’s Department of City and Regional Planning to discuss the proposals.

According to reports, the fourth seminar on the LDA Master Plan 2050 will be conducted at UET on December 1 (Wednesday) at 12 p.m.

The LDA also claimed that the Master Plan 2050 focuses on planning and tackling concerns such as public transportation, the environment, water, industrialization, bike lanes, commercial and historical development, and agricultural land protection throughout the city. In this regard, the city government has enlisted the help of internationally renowned architects and advisors.
